If you like the wavy sound, definitely listening to #TheWeeknd new album “S T A R B O Y”, will be music to your ears, heart, and souls. You really hear the passion through his music- from “Reminder” that shares and reminds his listeners that you know him, to “Die for you” where you really hear his pain and love for the person he’s singing about. He loves this person but is afraid to truly “articulate” how he feels for them but he does love her, which you can tell from the chorus.

This Canadian singer, songwriter, and producer real name is Abel Makkonen Tesfaye. His mother is from Ethiopia and settled in Toronto in the 1980s. He became well-known in the late 2010 when he put out “House of Balloons, Thursday, and Echoes of Silence. “Early Weeknd songs were atmospheric and chilly, their thick narcotic haze sliced by his broken-glass falsetto.” I started listening to TheWeeknd since the summer of 2011 and if you’re a fan you’ll know that this album sounds lighter and not as mysterious at his mixtape days.
“I feel it coming,” is hands down my personal favorite. I love the funky beat and the play with words in this song. The tunes in this song makes you want to groove out and definitely has that Michael Jackson sound to it.
