The anticipated wait for The Dream is over!
He has come out with an EP called Love You to Death exclusively on Tidal. The five-song project follows his visual album Genesis, which was released via TIDAL as well back in January. His last album was IV Play, which I loved of course!

Terius Nash,The Dream, voice was always so dreamy to me literally, one time driving to Gainesville, FL from Orlando, FL I put him on the car Bluetooth and he instantly put me in a daze of reminiscing about his (that one dude you can never forget about) sex. I found myself rear-ended into another car not a typical car ride but heyy! Just like the website HotNewHipHop.com said, “The sing-songwriter and record producer has been behind so many hits, you would need to pinch yourself to make sure you’re awake.” The Dream vocal tone takes you on a trip of ecstasy, with every note I can feel myself anticipating for more.
He started out as a songwriter for B2K and has written many other hits for Beyoncé, Rihanna, and Britney Spears. Not to mention for himself like my favorite “Purple Kisses,” “I Luv Your Girl,” and “Shawty Is Da Shit.”
I remember when Radio Jamez put me on to The Dream and his hit, “Shawty Is Da Shit,” in the summer of 2007. We were both in high school working on a summer project for a law class and when I heard the song I instantly loved The Dream forever.
His song “Rih-Flex,” on his new EP is my favorite right now. Pretty much singing about girls these days being “savages” because “she’s on her Rihanna flex.” YESSSSS! I love it, because girls are now empowered to stand up to dudes especially the ones that think their shit doesn’t stink. Guys are no longer playing women – we are rising against it at least that’s how I feel about it. We’re no longer being submissive to guys and their bullshit and they are realizing it: “feel like you lost something you never had.”

The Dream explained, “ There’s an idea that women are savages now, which I just don’t believe. But we can’t deny the impact that Rihanna has had on younger women that are like, Oh, cool, I can do what I want to do – I ain’t gotta have no feelings about this or about that.”
According to Rolling Stone, “Lemon Lean” is about men thoughts: I’m not trying to compete with you, we’ve both got jobs to do, and we both have to feel a certain type of way. You want to feel like a woman, and I want to feel like a man. It’s not gonna just be about you feeling like a woman and that’s it. That’s not what real women want anyway. They want you to be you; they just don’t know exactly how we feel about things. Most of the time, men don’t really express ourselves. That’s a huge part of where I come in at, to kind of explain what that thing is,” said the Dream.

The-Dream also teased in an Instagram post that Love Affair, his first proper full-length effort since 2013’s IV Play, will drop this March. Before The-Dream ushers in the spring, listen to Love You to Death here.
**Must have Tidal to listen.
Listen to The Dream and share with me your thoughts on his EP, you know I love it!
