Yesss, you heard that right! Viva La Vegas for Christmas –

Viva La Christmas!!

First of all, if you want to go somewhere different for Christmas – Las Vegas, Nevada is probably the last place you’ll think about visiting but when I say it is ahhhhmazing!!! I went this past December 2019 – It was like Santa’a Enchanted Forest on steroids. If you don’t know what Santa’s Enchanted Forest is . . . it’s a Holiday themed carnival park with rides and holiday decorations everywhere south of Miami, Florida.

Las Vegas is bright with all of the neon lights. It is a true sight to see, the Christmas lights make an extra oomph that is truly worth seeing. There was a rooftop ice skating rink, beautiful lighted Christmas trees, shiny oversized ornaments, and over – sized Teddy Bears. New York- New York Hotel & Casino is a really nice family-friendly place to stay. It’s located right next to the T-Mobile Arena and the MGM is a walk across the street to some of the best concerts and shows.

Below I will list my top favorite things I did in Las Vegas and the things I wish I could’ve done but maybe you can visit for me. This order is not in a particular order, it is simply a list of things that I enjoyed doing or wanted to do but didn’t have time to do.

Seven Magic Mountains
  1. The Big Apple New York Roller Coaster Ride: is situated on top of the New York-New York hotel. You can literally see the whole strip before you fall 144 feet down and a quick twist off the popular strip. If you’re feeling extra adventurous there is a VR Experience option that will give you crisp 4K resolution and heart racing sounds that’s sure to give you quite an experience while you’re riding on the coaster.
  2. The Mob Museum instantly takes you to the prohibition era as you travel through the building as it takes you through organized crime history.
  3. The LinQ/Flamingo is where you can go and visit the beautiful flamingos on the strip. There is so much to do and see make sure you stop by and say Hi!
  4. Circus Circus is fun for all ages! The building is filled with thrilling sights like the flying trapeze where you’ll occasionally see circus acts flying through the air. on the property also sits several roller coasters.
  5. Peppermill Cafe & Fireside Lounge: this place is hands down an all-time favorite of mine! One side sits a fireside lounge, where you can order delicious and fun drinks while lounging next to the fire. On the other side is 70s themed diner with plush chairs and delicious muffins. When I say if you don’t order the muffins, I don’t know what to tell you!
  6. The Bellagio Conservatory is beautiful as it instantly makes you feel like you’re in Italy walking around the beautiful architecture.
  7. The Carmine’s: Located in the beautiful Forum Shops at Caesars Hotel & Casino, Carmine’s in Las Vegas takes Southern Italian family-style dining to another level. Known for their hearty portions of all your favorite Italian dishes, each item is meant to be shared around the table with friends and family. Once you enjoy a meal, you’re a quick walk away from the beautiful Bellagio fountains and botanical garden, the Eiffel Tower Experience in Paris, and all the biggest shows and attractions Sin City have to offer.
  8. Seven Magic Mountains: a beautiful sight to see of colorful rocks outside of Las Vegas. Totally worth the drive to see.
  9. Bixby’s waffles is the best spot for chicken and waffles. They create delicious waffle sandwiches so get there early!
  10. The Mirage: Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat: Watch the lions, tigers, and leopards at the Las Vegas’ Secret Garden at the Mirage, along with beautiful lush foliage and jungle-themed music.
